Job Description
The objective of this role is to support lead and growth objectives set by the Business Development Director.. The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and measuring all marketing efforts for Set Creative globally in support of lead generation and brand awareness. This position serves as a brand ambassador for the company and our clients at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages the marketing communication function across three offices under the direction of the Director of Growth
- Oversees all marketing communications, marketing campaigns, and participation in events
- Assists in the planning, development, and direct marketing efforts growing and refining the Set Creative brand and supporting the growth function.
- Oversees and manages Set Creative’s presence across all channels, including but not limited to Trade PR, Social (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) and our website as well as promoting our capabilities across WPP.
- Plans and manages updates to website including major updates and refreshes.
- Develops and implements content plan across all social channels, website and email.
- Supports the Director of Growth in development of credentials.
- Acts as a gatekeeper of the Set Creative brand, ensuring proper use in all advertising, promotions, publications (internal and external), marketing, social media, and any other environment in which the brand appears
- Enforces and comply with the use of brand standards and templates in all design work performed by the creative team
- Manages the company’s participation in events
- Assists in managing the Marketing/Branding budget, including budget planning, tracking and reporting on budget to Director of Marketing
- Works closely with creative and strategy leads to produce and promote content in sync with agency directives
- Manages the brand introduction as part of the internatal onboarding process
- Provides cadenced reports of marketing activity across all platforms
Qualifications:
The list of qualifications includes the minimum qualifications necessary for any new employee for this position, such as specific prior work experience, certifications/licenses, technical knowledge of software, machinery, or tools, and physical abilities such as relevant lifting, bending, walking, and/or stooping.
REQUIRED:
- Demonstrable experience working in the marketing department of a creative agency or similar
- A familiarity with the changing content marketing landscape and an understanding of how content can drive new business opportunities
- Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills
- Solid copywriting and editing skills
- Big ideas and an enthusiasm to learn and be part of a fast-paced team
- A personable and professional attitude
- The ability to multitask and juggle numerous requests and deadlines
- Requires working skills with Mac computers and the Google Suite (Gmail, drive, docs, slides, sheets etc)
- Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
PREFERABLE:
- Experience with paid advertising on LinkedIn would be advantageous
- Experience with SEO and Google Ads a plus
- Experience working in WebFlow
